Special Ideas of a Twitter Twenius

Genius Twitter Twenius BasicsSpecial Ideas of a Twitter Twenius – It’s hard to believe that celebrities, politicians and well known people from @Deepak_Chopra to @BrentSpiner to @GeneSimmons to @ReginaSpektor and numerous others, are racing to establish themselves as part of the Twitter craze.

But Twitter is much more amazing than that. Truth be told, Twitter is a local based connection tool too. It’s likely your town government is on Twitter, your local TV and radio news, your local Fire Department, your library, your community college, even the guy that cleaned your carpets recently. If they aren’t on Twitter now, they’ll likely be on soon.

But there’s another audience making its claims on Twitter. It’s a tidal shift of a more serious nature where business owners (both large and small) including entrepreneurs and home-based businesses are starting to tap the profitable potential of Twitter. When we observe successful companies like: @BestBuyRemix, @Starbucks or @sprintnews begin lining up on the Twitter bandwagon, it’s without doubt time to to start planning YOUR Twitter strategy.

Perhaps this “craze” boils down to the everlasting fact that a significant amount of business actually occurs in social gatherings, at cocktail parties, on the golf course, or at other social events. Now, through Twitter it’s become possible, if not down right easy, to benefit from an online version of a non-stop cocktail party of unending proportions.

It’s hard to overlook some of these facts and stories:

  • How powerful is a reTweet? “Social network users are 3 times more likely to trust the opinions of peers over advertising when making purchase decisions.” ~JupiterResearch
  • “Unique visitors to Twitter increased 1,382 percent year-over-year, from 475,000 unique visitors in February 2008 to 7 million in February 2009, making it the fastest growing site in the Member Communities category for the month. Zimbio and Facebook followed, growing 240 percent and 228 percent, respectively.”
  • “The average unique visitor went to Twitter.com 14 times during the month and spent an average of seven minutes on the site.”

What does all this mean? It means that if you are an entrepreneur or own a business, make your plans soon to get over to Twitter and set up a free Twitter account.

Could it be that easy?

Well, not quite. Once you have your Twitter account opened, that’s when the for most people, the challenges begin. It’s a very very simplistic concept, but like playing chess, unless you have a clear strategy, you’ll soon be scratching your head.

Thankfully, there’s help. Internet strategist and social media marketing expert, Dan Hollings has spent over 12 months researching and testing Twitter strategies for business. Along the way, Dan wrote 100 of the most popular Twitter tips found anywhere online. Next he created a browser toolbar for Mac or PC that places about 240 Twitter tools, tips and apps easily within reach. Recently, he released his powerful Twitter training program called, “Twitter Twenius” (that’s Twitter-talk for genius).

Here is a helpful Twitter tip, to get your juices flowing:

The fact that Twitter can help make or raise money is no longer theory. If you VELCRO everything you do with Twitter, the cohesion of your strategy will increase your prospect, customer, or audience stickiness factor and the money will follow.

Naturally, there’s significantly more to learn, but if you’re looking for Twitter revenue generating ideas or a way to accelerate the Twitter afterburners within all your promotional campaigns whether in your home town or around the world, I recommend Twitter Twenius.
