Despite the U.S. economy, many companies are realizing great success with social media. Many came to start a computer. Companies with the best return on investment, including the creation of case studies complete with accurate account of what they did, how they did, how much and where have succeeded.
Clients often ask me advice on the strategic use of media for your social enterprise. Some indicators of success and a basic strategy that I recommend:
Twitter is the most used. Some companies use a maximum of five members of social media to your computer to monitor feeds and Twitter tweets that are relevant to your industry and business. Even a company that has 45 employees that Twitter has a team of five people. This plan is loosely based off of Google and the approach Comcast Twitter. They have different account names Twitter for different purposes:
- – @ CompanyNameBuzz This account is to have fun with customers and potential customers. The team member follow-up action fuels this "Buzz" about the company internally and externally, which gives a more personal touch.
- @ CompanyNameBoss – founder of the Company or the President has a presence Twitter too. It is recommended he or she responds to people personally, because it shows how much they care, that the Grand Chief to spend more time at his office on Twitter.
- @ CompanynameCares – The customer service person answered the question or tweets of affected customers and potential customers.
All this work is efficient you may think. A company linked to the 3 major customers for these accounts and discussions focused on Twitter.
